11x22 inch Antique Gold Beaux Arts Picture Frame for canvas art circa 1890 (19th century American).

This is a small 11 three-quarters inch tall by 22 inch wide ornate wooden Barbizon wall art frame with a beautiful decorated broad canted profile and a gilded gold leaf finish made in the United States.

This period frame displays an original label on it which reads "TC. Lindsay" who was a famous landscape painting artist during the 1870s. 

This period frame could fit a 11x22 inch landscape painting or a 22x11 inch portrait painting or even fashioned into a 21x31 inch gold framed mirror.

Rabbet Dimensions: 11.75" x 22". Rabbet dimensions represent the size of artwork that the frame will hold. 

Frame Profile: 4.5 inches wide. The picture frame profile is the width of the rails of the frame on one side.

Depth: 2.5 inches from the wall.
