The wall art depicts a view of a train station in Chester, New Hampshire in the 19th century. The train is in station with locomotive burning coal.
It measures 20 inches tall by 26 inches wide in the black and gold picture frame.

Albert Webster Davies, described as the "Male Grandma Moses," turned to painting, at the age of 65. On January 15 through February 14, 1965 - The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum, Colonial Williamsburg exhibited a grouping of his paintings.
Davies chose subject matter of the 19th century and turn of the century to preserve his favorite memories. His paintings are characterized by great attention to detail with even the smallest elements carefully delineated.
