13x18 Inch Antique Gold Hudson River Picture Frame for canvas art circa 1875 (19th Century American painting frame for sale).

This is a 13 one-half inch tall by 18 inch wide decorative wooden wall art frame featuring a scoop profile and cast gesso corner ornament of leaves, berries and nuts with a gilded gold leaf finish made in the United States.

This period frame could fit a 13x18 inch landscape painting or a 18x13 inch vertical portrait painting or even fashioned into a 22x26 inch gold framed mirror.

The surface has been Re gilt or regilded.

Rabbet Dimensions: 13.5" x 18". Rabbet dimensions represent the size of artwork that the frame will hold. 

Frame Profile: 4 inches wide. The picture frame profile is the width of the rails of the frame on one side.

Depth: 2.5 inches from the wall.
